Is bribery wrong? Shouldn\’t people tip you cause they want to? Not for free photos??
Bribery, you jest. It\’s a contest, and the winner has the correct answer. I guess you\’re not the winner.
Having Gerry in town has certainly kept you busy. Whatever will you do when he leaves?? I think you should have an auction after LAC completes filming – the prize is a print of your best Gerry photo -if he signs it, it\’s more valuable – and give the proceeds to your favorite charity in his name.
So, if I want to make a weekend trip to Philly in hopes of a Gerry sighting, I\’d be better off doing it the weekend of 3/20 versus this weekend??
They\’re filming right now across the street at the Justice Center. That\’s the only guarantee you will be getting from me.
I actually saw Gerry, that’s what he told me to call him ; ), both Friday and Saturday. He was at Del Frisco on Friday and G on Saturday…I just realized I should have texted you…sorry!
Yes he came in around 10:30 with a few people from the movie, sat at his table for a few minutes. Then ended up running into him again at G but I didn’t get there until 1:00…he actually asked to wear my hat in exchange for his which we did for a little. Jamie Foxx was also hanging out and very nice… last week when I met him he wasn’t.
May I just say that your \”embracing\” of Gerard Butler fans has been most appreciated. I\’m sure you\’ve had opportunity to deal with those that have caused us \”regular fans\” to be pictured in an unflattering light (i.e., rabid, zealot, delusional). But your \”contest\” leads me to believe that your experience with the majority of us has also been beneficial. (Otherwise, you wouldn\’t \”invite\” that kind of frenzy upon yourself. LOL) Nonetheless, I just wanted to thank you for your past generosity.
I\’m not sure why you care what he thinks. I think you\’re all crazy and he just wants to get a photo. Why would anyone spend good money for a glimspe of a fantasy, instead of just watching 300 at home with your Rabbit?
We ARE all crazy to varying degrees — the difficulty is determining which degree of insanity is \”acceptable\” to others. 😉 As for spending money on a \”glimpse of a fantasy…\” Well, after the batteries die in the Rabbit, one has to do SOMETHING to get the spice back into the relationship. (Personally, I simply change DVDs. But to each her own…)
ROFL, thanks that was great. I admire Gerry\’s fans. I shot celebrities in NYC for over 3 years, Gerry\’s fans are by far the tamest. You should see the Johnny Depp fans or Motley Crew fan\’s or well the fan\’s that just want a photograph with every celebrity ever born. Check out my other blog http://www.ConfessionsofaPaparazzi.com if you want to know about those fans.
I will be sad to see LAC leaving Philly and I have enjoyed your Chit Chat column immensely. Being a Gerry Butler fan from the beginning, I cannot ever read enough about him and the movies he makes. Thank you.
