BLIZZARD FEBRUARY 9 & 10 PHOTOS THE DAY AFTER

A Snow Emergency is still in Effect and thank you KS&G for another day off, although I did attempt to walk to work before I realized it was a futile attempt and only 3 people showed up.

Of course they were sledding on the Art Museum Steps, probably one of the best hills in the City. Hard on your butt though, and crazy out of control peeps. This run was like bowling for children as the sled knocked this kid down.
This guy built a mogul for his tube.
If you look closely you can see his friend lay below the mogel with his legs spread. Not sure what the point was,
but you might see this shot in the Metro Philly newspaper Friday. Rikard, their photographer was near me. He’s a great photographer and I admire him. (he’s on the ground to the left)

Then I trekked over to MLK Drive, which was like taking my life into my hand since the sidewalk wasn’t paved and I had to walk in the street. Thankfully there were hardly any cars.

Thank you Mark Focht, Director of Fairmount Park for the efficient job you did cleaning the paths along the river. Dog Park at Judy Garland Park.
