Ben Franklin’s Birthday Celebration at Noble!

I was late for this year’s University of Pennsylvania’s celebration at Noble because I was out looking for that Ring Flash for Pam Anderson. I did arrive for the tail end and caught a few pictures. So I will go out and cover the good folks of the Penn Alumni again soon.

Renowned Penn historian of modern American culture and chair of the History Department Dr. Kathy Peiss will lead an informative discussion on urban nightlife in the era of World War I and the Jazz Age, a time when dancing was all the rage, alcohol became illegal, mores loosened, and a new youth culture emerged.
