JULY 4TH THE REST OF THE STORY – Mumia idiots, DC Cowboys, Americana Houses
More July 4th Photos – I wrote extensively about my July 4th Weekend in my Philly Mag column yesterday, but I have a few more favorite pixs.
Love this Americana House in Audubon NJ
Audubon July 4th Parade. I was late waking up and getting there, I don’t have any real pixs to talk about. Miss Justice Mt Ephraim
Phil and Betty McGarrigan with their political dummies. You may have seen them ride around during the election, on July 4th etc to get a laugh or double take.
After the parade, the committee members broke for a keg break at 10:30AM at the Clark House
Audubon Fire house
This is the house I lived in til I was ten.
Audubon is really cute.
Sunset July 3
The July 4th Parade on Market Street in Philadelphia; Thank you soldiers through time for keeping our land free.
Wawa avoiding some crap in the road.
A picture tells a thousand words. Mumidiot yelling at a child in the parade. (There must be a real cause they could put their energies towards.)
Marine Cpl John Folsom (white shirt, red hat) is touring the U.S. and spent the Fourth in Philly trying to break a Guinness World Record of 6,000 High Fives and raise raise support for Wounded Warriors Family, a nonprofit organization that supports military families. The Mumia supporters didn’t pay him no mind (He stood there for about a minute trying to explain what he was raising awareness to), after complaining 5 minutes earlier how people didn’t want to support what they were doing. Pot kettle?
Love love love this picture of Alys Nawaur with the Chinese Dragon
Fairmont Senior High School – Steel Drum Band – Fairmont WV. Thanks for participating in our parade
The Phillies ball girls
Miss Philadelphia, Andrea Helfrich and proud mom susan
Mark Segal, Publisher of the PGN with other GLBT freedom fighters Frank Kameny and Randy WickerGay Band
I only want to see this tank in parades
I love this shot.
Mike and his mom on the balcony. Mike’s mom always lets us have our July4th party at her house (Mike and I have a view of the Penns Landing fireworks). Below is a video taken from the balcony, you can hear the entire crowd get excited at some of the fireworks.
