CHRISTMAS WINDOW UNVEILING
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 20 at 1PM
WHO: Macy’s Center City rings in the spirit of the season with their Christmas window unveiling and other spectacular events for the entire family. Join Major League Baseball player Ryan Madson** and his family, Radio Disney artist Josh Golden, and some very special children from Make-a-Wish as they kick off the festivities on Market Street with Jolly Old St. Nick himself!
(**I do have to say how odd the call him the Major League Baseball player in the press release and not Phillie’s Relief Pitcher?)
WHAT: Macy’s Christmas Window Unveiling – 1 PM
This year’s windows bring to life the animated CBS television special, “Yes Virginia…,” and tell the inspiring true story of 8-year-old Virginia O’Hanlon, a little girl who chose to believe in Santa Claus.
The magic continues inside on the 3rd floor after the window unveiling. Bring your camera for the exclusive opportunity to have pictures taken with the Macy’s Polar Bear, Percy the Penguin, Mad Dog from the Philadelphia Wings and the Phillie Phanatic. (Phanatic with Erin Elmore at the Best of Philly Magazine 2009)
