Philly Folks on the InternetCongrats to the new eatery at 13th & Drury Streets, The Corner for the great write up in Haute Magazine. Look for more comfort food to be added to the menu, but I stressed to the peeps in charge do not get rid of my calamari, it is the best in the City. Trust me go in and try it.
Niche Media President Jason Binn (Philadelphia Style Magazine) tweeted this picture of Sly Stallone and him backstage at the Golden Globe Awards last night. Look for this shot in the Binn Hot Shot section of the Spring issue is my bet.
Jersey Shore DJ Pauly D stopped by The Roxxy last night to take spin at the turntable between sets by @DJYAN and @djeddieedge The line stretched 4 blocks long as fans lined up to get into the Roxxy. Final numbers were nearly 2500 people. after 2 hrs he left and headed to Harrah’s for a meet, greet & spin there – THE SAME NIGHT. That’s what we call grinding and rackin’ big time. BTW looks like those Jersey Shore folks are not going away. Next up closing down Broad Street might be a good idea for Jenni Farley, JWoww of “Jersey Shore“, signing copies of The Rules According to JWoww Tavern on Broad on3/14/11,
Speaking of book signings don’t forget Tuesday1/18/11 -5:30PM Steve Harvey will be signing his new book “Straight Talk, No Chaser” at Center City, Borders Books at Broad & Chestnut streets. Catch Steve and his wife Marjorie Harvey on CNN360 at 11PM Monday night.
I was surfing Facebook and came across pixs from the Michael Vick’s girlfriends birthday party a few weeks back. Above Kijafa (as she told me once she wants to go by one name), gives Vick a thank you hug for
the $90,000 Porsche he bought her for her birthday
She promptly “faints” from all the excitement (Facebook)
Which reminds me, newsie Alycia Lane’s civil suit against CBS3 & others comes up in April. Now I will be free to watch the proceedings and catch twitter the action live for you. When is the movie of the week going to film this crazy nugget of drama and intrigue. Although I am still waiting for the Rabbi Nuelander story and The story of Summer the Stripper (both terribly sad murder stories, but fascinating too). (Facebook)
as played by J. Ward Larkin, who interprets BENJAMIN FRANKLIN Cell 856 952 9352. Also may you have a wonderful Martin Luther King Day. I will be doing a day of service, I hope you will too.
