FLYERS TO THANK FANS WITH FREE OPEN PRACTICE Plus More Fun Info

I’m being bombarded with so many Flyers Press Releases it’s hard to tweet them out so I will list them here by importance. Who wouldn’t want to see the Flyers Practice. I think that’s the most important one.

The Philadelphia Flyers will open training camp later today with a
roster of 26 players – 16 forwards, eight defensemen and two
goaltenders, according to general manager
Paul Holmgren.  On-ice practices begin today at The Virtua Center
Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ at 11 AM, and are free and open to
the public.

As part of the training camp roster, the Flyers have recalled the
following players from their American Hockey League affiliate, the
Adirondack Phantoms:

C Brayden Schenn (33 GP, 13-20-33, 15 PIM)

LW Eric Wellwood (29 GP, 4-5-9, 6 PIM)

C Sean Couturier (31 GP, 10-18-28, 16 PIM)

LW Tye McGinn (30 GP, 9-4-13, 52 PIM)

LW Zac Rinaldo (31 GP, 2-3-5, 92 PIM)

(*Adirondack season stats: G-A-PTS)

The Flyers also have recalled C Scott Laughton from the
Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League.  Laughton was the Flyers’
first-round draft pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.  He has 13 goals and
20 assists for 33 points in 32 games for the
Generals this year, along with 42 PIM.

A complete copy of the training camp roster is attached to this release.

Practices will continue throughout the week, including an
