The Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County 35th Anniversary Party – Photos

The Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County (DAP) hosted a 35th
Anniversary celebration at the Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square onOctober 9, 2013. The non-profit organization is one of the leading domesticviolence prevention and intervention agencies in the Commonwealth ofPennsylvania that provides advocacy, counseling, and legal services tonearly 4,000 clients each year.

DAP’s 35 th Anniversary honored and paid tribute to their dedicated and devoted donors. The highlight of the event was an address by Victor Rivas River , a renowned advocate for domestic violence prevention. As a survivor of growing up in a violent home, River conquered his early life and became a veteran film star, best-selling author, and former NFL player for the Miami Dolphins
