Sunday night one of those secret summer soiree’s was held at The Collins, a new apartment building at 1125 Sansom Street Philadelphia, PA. 19107. The entrance is on the backside of the new Target store on Chestnut Street.
I heard about it the day before and decided to check it out. Valerie & Jeanette greeted me at the door with this cute Red Bull/Pineapple alcohol drink with keepsake vessel.
I checked out a few of the apartments on my way up to the event on the roof, this is the 2nd in a series of pop up parties where the apartment leasing has parties to showcase the new building to prospective tenants. Drinks were flowing, and delicious food is served by the guys from Bru Catering. Nice view, the building in the foreground is the new MOM’s Organic Market Coming to East Market as well as the newly relocated Market Design Offices.
some residents will have patios in the modern designed building
There’s a community room, as well as a fitness center
The view is nice
A real lawn on the roof, the building allows dogs but the dog park wasn’t ready for it’s close up yet
The kitchens have sleek stainless steel appliances. This unit has a “french balcony”
the future green roof
The community room and kitchen
Slaying in this dress
I was super surprised about the bedrooms, but then I read the website and they consider these units “lofts”. I only had a chance to look at this one, so you should make an appointment to check out all the units
The bathrooms are HUGE
Slaying with that hair cut
The community room
The party was fabulous, and I love a new crowd. Drop me a note and I will send the party planners your info.
Location, Location, Location: Greystar has some other amazing buildings too that I Love, including my favorites The Griffen, The Grannery and 2116 Chestnut, . Plus I can’t wait to see the new Rodin Apartment Building , which they don’t manage, but looks spectacular. It’s where the new Whole Foods is going, opening in November. The apartments are available in September. 626 sq feel for $1,889.
