Follow me on Twitter @iPhillyChitChat for updates on what’s going on in Philadelphia, 10 – 12 times a day.
Introducing luxury nightlife with a bit of spice, Voyeur is the new Philadelphia nightclub where you become the show!
The main floor features this huge dance floor.
Luxurious banquette seating along the wall to catch all the action on the dance floor. (This section was still incomplete, but they were nice enough to let me shoot it anyway)
Well stocked bars with your favorite drinks. Although there is a low yearly membership, something below $25, probably to allow smoking in the club (I’m not excited about that, wish there were designated areas for that), anyway, the drinks run average at $5 – $12.
The centerpiece includes an immersive visual experience of images, designed by Philadelphia’s own Ricardo Rivera of Klip Collective and displayed on a centerpiece structure in the middle of the main dance floor; and a view of it all from any part of the club.
A back bar with secret stairway leading to the 2nd floor. There is a more public staircase off the main dance floor
The brainchild of brothers Michael and Billy Weiss of Bump and Woody’s fame, with the overall design concept belonging to Billy, the purpose of Voyeur Nightclub is to bring to Philadelphia what people often leave to the city to do: have grand experiences and be a part of the star-quality that other big cities possess.
Club owners Michael and Billy Weiss, who also own Woody’s, at 13th and Walnut, have been involved in Transit and a number of other clubs. The new club will be marketed for gay and straight clientele. – This is the 2nd floor dance room which will feature more rap than anything else. (I kinda wish it was an 80’s room)
Voyeur boasts 2 VIP lounges comfortably seating 60 of your closest friends, with readily available bottle service;
Each of the VIP rooms look down onto the dance floor and the lighted center piece.
The VIP tables are reserved but the balconies are open to anyone.
Also on the 2nd floor, at any given time this case may be opened and
a sweet young lady may take her place on the perch and swing.
On the lowest level of the club is the sub-club housing another generous bar,

Also in the sub-lounge there is a stage for cabaret performances, karaoke and Quizzo. All in all Voyeur houses a plethora of exciting activities for the Voyeur or Exhibitionist to enjoy. I’m excited to have another awesome dance club to choose from in the very active Philadelphia nightlife excitement. Still need to get down to my friend Meesha’s Recess to check out the dance night club that opened on 2nd Street.

For years, the 13th Street corridor was a mess and now it's looking nice. Good restaurants and interesting stores. Voyeur will do nothing to enhance the area — hopefully it won't turn it back into what it was. Someone at City Hall was definitely "sleeping at the wheel" when whoever applied for the Zoning and Permit applications.
I'm gonna disagree on the above comment. The 13st corridor change and Pure was in place, which was primarily a late night club. Voyeur is going to be open from 9PM til 3:30AM, attract a mix clientele of straight/gay customers and there will be more foot traffic in the area to continue the safety of the corridor.
It might help the corner if someone could buy the empty "gentleman's club" on the corner of 13th & Locust.
In answer to HughE: Let's wait & see if Voyeur will "enhance" the 13th St corridor. I think by having them there just opens the door to more places that led to the downfall of the area.
In answer to Anonymous: Hopefully when a new tenant is in the space that was formerly a "gentlemen's club" it won't be Voyeur II.
I was at Voyeur last Saturday night and it was amazing. Dance floor was terror. The music trip. A good choice when G is too crowded.
Is this the old Pure location?
Thought about having the The Kennel Club Reunion there but since it's already booked for the night before Thanksgiving at JD McGillicuddy's there's no reason to.
However; I do wish to check it out. Will this be an after hours club?
People, this is the old Pure location. With the exception of some paint on the walls, better private bathroom set-up (some of you know what I'm talking about) and slight furniture redo it is the same Pure we love. I was there 2wks ago and it was packed. I'm sure it will not "bring down" the area. "Voyeur" should be welcomed to the neighborhood as these guys will continue to lead the upgrade of the area! How old do you have to be to enter?
straight male first time going to a gay club. Overall great vibe, people are super polite. music is unbearable at times. Straight girl are abundant.
Why don't you open up a place of your own and pay the city taxes. Traffic lights, roads, cops & such doesn't go by without business taxes. Yeah get rid of the bathhouse, clubs, all the entertainment… And what do you get kansas. If you don't like area why don't you just move to another state or better yet open up a …let's see.. clothing store yeah that's sit!
It's 6 months later, the club is doing great. I was there to cover the Black Eyed Peas, it was packed and the music was killing it. I think the area is fine, and I found street parking. What could be bad, it's a business district after all too.
