5 years ago I saw “party columns” around USA start to get cut because of budget constraints. I decided to create a wire service. Clients hire me to cover their events, I place the content in media, w/exclusive partnerships. It worked. Everyone gets their own set of publicity photos, story & editorial rights to what I submit. Rarely do I have time to cover non-paid events. Often I work 7 days a week between September thru December then March thru June.

PhillyChitChat is a photography news blog about Philadelphia’s social, political, and lifestyle scenes. HughE Dillon founded the online publication in 2007 while he worked as a paralegal. After three years the social diary gained significant traction, HughE started photographing events full-time  and the blog is now considered one of the leading news/entertainment/lifestyle outlets in the Philadelphia region. Whether posting on Instagram (29.4k followers) and Twitter (28K followers) with his “on-the-scene” updates or photographing a client’s gala, restaurant openings, retail happenings, etc, HughE is the go-to guy for knowing what is hot and happening in town.

Services

HughE Dillon LLC is a publicity company. Hiring us ($175hr min 1hr) means I will offer the event to various media outlets and photos will be placed.  (We only need 2hrs to capture your event. If you have a house photographer, it is suggested you keep them as well because our photos go in the media exclusively up to 90 days.)
