Suburbanites Unite! (actually some city folk there) for Isabella’s Soft Opening on Wednesday.

(This is the first of my advertorial entries which will appear twice a week when available, as well as when I don’t have enough time or content as my PhillyMag column requires a lot of my events.) First up an event PR Jaime Joffe put on, photos by Sari Lifshutz.
Suburbanites Unite! (actually some city folk there) for Isabella’s Soft Opening on Wednesday.
The place was PACKED. There was only a small list, but everyone showed + munched on neapolitan speciality pizzas, Fruta Del Mar, Plato de Quesos, Charcuterie, and Kobe Burgers. It was so insane that guests Steven + Jamie Greenspan (Toland Family) jumped behind the bar as fill ins 🙂
The Vibe: funky – rustic hardwood floors, burnished copper accents – indoor seating for 40, outdoor flagstone porch seats 16 + features an unbelievable built in brick pizza oven. Walls are adorned by mixed media pieces created by celebrated (and award winning) Philadelphia Artist Karen Schectman Cole. Upstairs offers a loft style private dining room with floor to wall windows, stained glass, and high ceilings.
The place looks…. Gorgeous!! The food tasted…. Delicious!! The staff gave…. Fantastic service!! We were fortunate enough to be seated at the bar for the better part of the evening. Congratulations and Cheers to Isabella's.
