Friends of Schuylkill River Park is a non-profit, charitable corporation. It was formed in 1988 by concerned neighbors to foster and sits at the end of Spruce Street between Lombard and Locust Streets. Fairmount Park Executive Director Mark Focht, Schuylkill River Park President Lynne Hopper, and Derek Freres, Schuylkill River Park board memberAttorneys Ted Milstein and Susan Halpern (board member of Schuylkill River Park). Ted secured the band for the night, the very popular Screaming Broccolli again. They were great, covers that sound just like the original artists.
