NYC’s GREENHOUSE MAKES A MOVE, Want to Meet Bradley Cooper?; Sophia Kendrick; The Hamels Have A Boy & Borgata Celebs

AS I reported in August, Manhattan’s Eco-friendly lounge “Greenhouse” is opening on Chestnut Street a few doors down from Union Trust

was know as the Philadelphia Blueprint Company (and how I wish they would keep the sign, or at least donate it to McGillin’s as they seem to have a lot of former biz signs in their tavern. Although it does look piecemeal. I’ll take the “H” then.)
When I was first tipped off I thought it was 721 as my tipster said it was right next door to UT, but now that the LCB license went up I see it’s 725 Chestnut Street. Here’s the inside of 725 and it looks to be fairly raw space right now. I do recall hearing that the Philly Greenhouse is going to be a couple levels with one level being a mezzanine looking down at the other area.

SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK UPDATE: No Bradley Cooper sightings all weekend, but I did tweet yesterday that Chris Tucker arrived on the set Monday. Tucker filmed a group therapy session with Cooper at Norristown Hospital. Tucker plays Danny, Cooper’s friend in the mental institution. Tucker’s filming comes right in a break from his comedy tour. Next date 11/25/11, which is two days after the film wraps.

Borgata was hungry like the wolf this weekend with a sold-out performance on Saturday, October 29th by the Wild Boys themselves, Duran Duran. The group was joined onstage by their producer, Mark Ronson, who brought back the 80s later that night as he performed a rockin’ deejay set in MIXX Nightclub, including the last song he and belated friend Amy Winehouse worked on together, “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?” Sister and fellow deejay, Samantha Ronson – who was dressed as teen phenomenon Justin Bieber (although Bieber usually doesn’t scowl like that!) – brought down the house in mur.mur nightclub before joining her brother in MIXX for the emotional tribute. Earlier in the evening Sam tweeted a shot of the Duran Duran concert that she and her brother attended before heading to their gigs at the different Borgata clubs. G-Lounge has become the official home of the Philadelphia Eagles with their Sunday Night Eagles After Party. And party they did Sunday night after beating Dallas. Nearly every player joined in on the fun except DeSean Jackson, who I’ve been told made it out to the club even during the losing nights. The following night a few of the players came back for more G Lounge fun on Halloween Night: Jeremy Maclin, Brent Celek & Trent Cole hanging @gloungephilly but bah hum bug not in costume. Speaking of Philadelphia Eagles Tight End, Brent Celek, he hosting the 2nd Annual Celebrity Server Night at Morton’s The Steakhouse Philadelphia 11/14/11.

Baseball Babies: Last week I tweeted that Cole and Heidi Hamels had another baby boy. Cole was spotted eating at a Mexican restaurant, but he really was cooling his heels waiting for the baby to be born last Tuesday. (Another World Series baby.)

I chatted with Stephenie Kendrick the other day and she said I could post a few pixs of her and Phillies pitcher Kyle Kendrick’s adorable Sophia Kendrick in her Halloween costumes.
