Philadelphia Flower Show 2012 “Man Cave”
Sit Back and Relax in the Flower Show “Man Cave” PHILADELPHIA – Everyone needs a place to go to unwind, decompress, and chill out – even at the Philadelphia International Flower Show. This year, that haven will be the “Man Cave,” an inner sanctum (Room 204B) on the Grand Concourse of the Pennsylvania Convention Center featuring great, guy-friendly activities. (Women will be welcome, too.) 
HiFi House will create the ultimate home theater in the Man Cave, with a projection screen approaching 100 inches and the latest in digital surround sound. Screens throughout the room will air Philadelphia Flyers and Sixers games and a roster of NCAA Conference Tournament matches. Theater seating will be provided for visitors. SugarHouse Casino will sponsor table games — poker and blackjack with professional dealers – in the Man Cave. All of the buy-in for the games will go toward the PHS City Harvest program, which provides fresh produce for families in need. Players also will be eligible for very special prizes. In addition, golfers will be able to improve their stroke in virtual competitions courtesy of the “Tiger Woods PGA Tour” video game. The full bar in the Man Cave will offer a menu of manly beverages, including beer, wine and the special Flower Show Hawaiian-themed cocktails. So get ready to kick back, pick up a hand, bend an elbow, and indulge your inner caveman (or woman). The 2012 Philadelphia International Flower Show, “Hawaii: Islands of Aloha,” will be presented March 4-11 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Revenues from the Flower Show benefit the year-round work of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, and this year will support City Harvest, the innovative program that brings together a network of urban farmers, provides green job training, and grows fresh produce for more than 1,000 families in need each week.
