Fashion Week in Philly: Macy’s Fashion Incubator & Spicy, Sexy lingerie,

Last week was the kick off to New York Fashion Week at Lincoln Center
and it seems like we had our own fashion week here in Philly as there were events popping up all over. It started with the The Red Ball Fashion Preview at Macy’s Center City hosted by Alicia Vitarelli, 6ABC’s Anchor/FYI Reporter and Renée Cardwell Hughes, CEO of the Southeastern Pennsylvania chapter of the American Red Cross
There was so many great fashions on the runway that I didn’t catch as I was out the door to the next event.
A little ways up Chestnut Street, The Philadelphia Incubator, which is also sponsored by Macy’s, had a Pop-Up shop party at Knit Wit (1729 Chestnut St), which goes until 2/14/13
The Philadelphia Incubator: Elissa Bloom, Executive Director, Textile and fashion designer‘s Melissa D’Agostino, Autumnlin Atelier, Kaitlyn Elizabeth, Moriamo Johnson and Latifat Objinmi
Susan Slawson, Recreation Commissioner and Melissa D’Agostino with one of her creations. You’ll recall two weeks ago I wrote that Mrs Nutter wore her dress to the Academy Ball.
The 2012 class of Designers-In-Residence will complete their residency
at the Fashion Incubator at the end of February when a new crop of
eager, talented fashion designers will be introduced in the beginning of
March.
Further up Chestnut Street I hit the Hope Chest Center City is hosting Brews, Bras, & Bling, a men’s happy hour and shopping event, hosted by WMMR’s Marisa Magnatta at the Hope Chest at 1937 Chestnut Street
Alex Digiacomo, Dave Levenson and Matthew Nadu with the beautiful models of The Hope Chest
DJ Eddie Tully and hosted by Marisa Magnatta, with Dan Cronin, Chorus Communications
Jen Rosen, Hope Chest Owner, with Philadelphia MC Wyo and Marisa Magnatta. WYO won the raffle for the Chase Utley shirt. He tells me he’s going to donate it to a charity organization for auction.
