First of all, sorry I’ve neglected my little PCC blog. I’m going to recomit to posting fun stuff here everyday and injecting my thoughts and give you the inside, behind the scene scoop while balancing the thin line of pissing people off. I really do miss writing in the conversational way which doesn’t happen over at my media outlets, but I know you like it cause you tell me.

Philadelphia Style Magazine
celebrated their 10th Annual Best of Style Party at the Kimmel Center in Center
City on Thursday July 17, 2014. More than 1,500 people dressed to impress for “Night
in Paris” and experienced a variety of delicious cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and
desserts from the magazine’s winning 2014 Best of Style issue. (The fashion for this party was off the hook excellent.)

The magazine’s cover was created
by Peter Max for this momentous occasion and was give to all the guests. Max also created covers for all the Niche Media magazines.

At one
point Mayor Michael Nutter presented a Proclamation from the City to Publisher John Colabelli
and Editor in Chief Kristin Detterline in in honor of the event and its
10th anniversary.

The theme this year was “A Night In Paris”, but I think a lot of people still thought it was “The White Party”, which I think should be the theme every year, but of course not as strict as say Diner en Blanc.

Catch Me I’m Falling. I love the PSM party, it’s like a high school reunion that I would go to; the problem is there are so many people to see, and so many people I want to shoot, and last Thursday was no exception, except by the looks of a lot of peoples instagrams I missed a lot of fabulous people. People are willing to do a little work for an end result that is memorable; And by people I mean 4,000 people can’t all be wrong. So you black noir party people, you enjoy your night, which has been done by just about everyone, every night who’s ever had a house party, and by every one. It’s still special cause your with friends, but it’s not memorable special. Sure one day you might say to your grandkids, when we were you’re age we called our friends and said hey come over, wear black and we’ll sit around and drink wine.
