“Thanks to the millions of dollars in public service time that CBS 3 and CBS RADIO have donated over 25 years, we have changed the face of breast cancer,” says
Elaine I. Grobman, CEO of Komen Philadelphia and founder of the first Race for the Cure in Philadelphia.
“CBS 3 was with us at our first Race when people didn’t even talk about the disease… and through the years have helped us raise substantial funds and critical awareness. Today, we celebrate 3 million survivors living in the U.S. and
there is no denying this level of progress simply would not be possible without CBS 3.”

I dedicate this blog entry to my moms Virginia Dillon and Marie Russell. I will be donating all these photos, and the ones I didn’t publish here to Susan Komen Philadelphia.

Craig Robinson really supports a lot of great charities. Every time I turn around, he’s walking, raising money or supporting so many causes.

The runners use MLK Drive and the walkers use Kelly Drive (see them on the right)
Great job by CBS 3. I watched them before I ran over to the walk and it was great.
CBS 3’s “Women of Eyewitness News” —

joined by their CBS RADIO counterparts, will be out in force this Mother’s Day to once again host and broadcast the 25th Celebration Susan G. Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure®,
the largest run/walk event in the Philadelphia area and one of the community’s most successful breast cancer events, on

Sunday, May 10.
