Through the City of Philadelphia, beginning at 20th and JFK Boulevard,  turning LEFT on 16th Street. The parade continues northwest along the historic Parkway to the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Start your Thanksgiving Day with  Philadelphia’s #1 family tradition—ONLY on 6abc! The 6abc Dunkin’ Donuts Thanksgiving   Day Parade, now in the 96th year and going strong, kicks off Thursday November 26  8:30am with a half hour preview show followed by three hours of parade action! Action   News’ Rick Williams and Cecily Tynan will co-host the broadcast, with Adam Joseph, Karen   Rogers and Alicia Vitarelli LIVE along the parade route.   Good Morning America’s meteorologist, Rob Marciano, is making his 6abc Dunkin’ Donuts   Thanksgiving Day Parade debut. In addition to being featured in the parade, Rob Marciano   will provide live hits during Good Morning America starting at 7am.  

Also new this year, will be our Honorary Grand Marshal, Olympic Gold Medalist and World   Cup MVP Carli Lloyd. Joining the 2015 star-studded line up will be five-time Grammy Award   winning artist Dionne Warwick along with her son Damon, the “Queen of Scream” from “So   You Think You Can Dance?” Mary Murphy, and the Red Land Little League U.S. World   The 6abc Dunkin’ Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade is known for having ‘something for   everyone’ with 16 giant balloons, 10 festive balloons, 17 floats, 14 marching bands from   across our nation, 34 performances as well as fan favorites from music, stage and screen.  Music performances include, American Idol Season 13 winner Caleb Johnson, double- platinum celebrated artist, Al B Sure presented by Old School 100.3, local favorite, Lauren   Hart and actress and singer, Tichina Arnold. Additional entertainment will include, Jerry  Blavat, USO Show Troupe, Maria from of The Sound of Music, the cast from Pippin, Disney characters including Elsa.

Additional appearances include the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders and The  Philadelphia Soulmates. Also appearing, Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2016, Allie   Nault, Miss New Jersey, Miss Delaware, Miss Pennsylvania, Miss New Jersey’s   Outstanding Teen, Miss Delaware’s Outstanding Teen, Miss Pennsylvania’s Outstanding   Teen, the students from the Creative and Performing Arts High School, The Parade Youth   Choir and the All-Star Tap Dance Team.

Family Fun at the A.C. Moore Parade Zone OVAL / Eakins Oval 8:30AM-12NOON

During our preshow, viewers will be given a chance to win gift cards valued at $500 from  A.C. Moore. Then at 9:00AM, Thursday, November 26, 2015 and ending approximately   12:00PM, Thursday, November 26, 2015, viewers of the parade will be given a chance to  win more great prizes just for watching the parade.   We’ll be giving viewers a keyword to text into our special number 55678 or email   Cyber6@abc.com during the parade. Along with enjoying the parade festivities, families are encouraged to help support the 6abc  Dunkin’ Donuts Holiday Food Drive by bringing a can of food to the parade for collection by   the Boy Scouts along the parade route.
