First, sad face, another iconic club I partied at The Coastline is Closed. Philly.com reported that The Coastline would close in 2016, and it did this past weekend. I grew up in Cherry Hill, and it was a rite of passage that the Coastline would be the club the locals hit up when they turned of age, some of us a little bit before that too.
Sorry to see the old gal go, but glad she stuck around so long for others to enjoy the mirror balled dance floor, and delicious food.

After clubbing at the Coastline, I often headed over to
Taylor Mills’ Gay Club Gatsby’s on Rt 70 next to my still favorite pizza place in the area, King of Pizza.
Gatsby’s was torn down in 1988 (I have pixs of that night, now where is my photo album?) A new Gatsby’s opened a half mile away on Cuthburt Blvd), and a new dance club/restaurant built on it’s site called Taylor’s, then Iguana and then in 1997 Milk Bar took over the 2nd floor as a more loungy club,
Then in 2000 it was renovated and became Top Dog
Still going strong I photographed
Jwowwww of Jersey Shore fame back in 2010 where 1,000 packed the place to meet her
The last reincarnation of the building was in 2014
Craft House & Beer Garden, although the place was still attracting a decent crowd before it closed, sources tell me that Taylor Mills wanted to retire and sold the place in December to Vera
