Show Us Your Hats – Ladies Day at Devon Horse Show
A few weeks ago I attended Ladies Day at the Devon Horse Show. This years theme was “A Silver & Gold Celebration” in honor of Devon’s 120th anniversary was this year’s theme. It was a beautiful day, and many more ladies came out ever before.
Carson Kressley was on hand to be a judge of the hat competition again as well.
Leslie Brown won ”Best of Devon”.
These lovely ladies look stunning in their gold and silver outfits. The hats were all designed by Kelly Bogan.
The Judges:
Hat Contest was judged by several notables, including Carson Kressley (2nd from right), celebrity fashion expert, who will be wearing a custom designed hat by famed milliner Christine A. Moore , known for her ‘racetrack fashion,’ creating hats for the Kentucky Derby, Breeders’ Cup (r), and other high – profile equestrian events. Other judges are Adam Joseph, 6abc Action News Meteorologist (4th from left); Caroline O’Halloran of Savvy Main Line (c) ; Anthony Weagley, President and CEO of Malvern Federal Savings Bank (4th from right); Sam Dangremond, Town & Country Web Editor (3rd from left); Michael Smyth of Land Rover Jaguar Main Line (2nd from left); Brenda Waites Bolling, milliner and boutique owner in New York City (3rd from right); and, Kristin Detterline of Philadelphia Style Magazine (l) .

The Devon Horse Show folks have built a temperature controlled clubhouse which can be rented for events.
There were tea sandwiches for the after contest luncheon
Then I headed over to Michelle Leonard’s box where she graciously hosted a few of her friends. She had a delicious spread catered by Capital Grille
