MOMS (MOBS) MOVE Philly is a group of Mothers of Black Sons, calling on the village to unite and to affect change in our community through activism, education and economic empowerment. MOMS (MOBS) MOVE Philly is uniting with other Mothers groups across the nation for marches, community events.
Fifty-two years after the Civil Rights Act was passed, our black sons and daughters are still at risk. In spite of Dr. King’s dream, African-Americans continue to be judged by the color of their skin and not the content of their character. We are the village and therefore must unite to ensure a brighter future for our children.
MOMS (MOBS) MOVE PHILLY stands on the legacy of those who came before us and will continue in the fight to eliminate racial injustice, police brutality and violence in our community.
