Joan Shepp celebrated the 17th Annual “Women of Substance and Style” at her boutique at 1811 Chestnut Street, February 22, 2017.

The fashionable event recognized 27 African-American women in the community making a difference.

Honorees* at the event were recognized with a certificate of achievement at the event. Guests enjoyed a cocktail party, lite bites from Eatible Delights Catering and spirits from Stateside. There was a short program, followed by cake by SweetNectar and toasting. Proceeds from the event will go to the ACLU.
