NRG Media Combine Competition in Rittenhouse Square
Happy Tuesday!! Hope everyone enjoyed yesterday’s gorgeous day. Last week….

Nine local media members took part in the inaugural NRG draft day media combine (#NRGMediaCombine) to coincide and celebrate the draft taking place in Philadelphia.

The four events, set up on Rittenhouse Square on Thursday, April 27th included, high jump, ladder agility, standing broad jump, and passing accuracy.

Participants were: Bex Today’s 96.5 – Matt Cord BEN FM; Pat Gallen CBS 3; Kristen Herrmann BEN FM; Marisa Magnatta WMMR; Chris O’Connell Fox 29 ; Rick Pipito sCrypt Publishing; Roberta Pipito HomemadeDelish.com and Bill Tafrow, More FM
Each event winner per gender will receive a ribbon, the overall winner per gender will receive a medal. NRG will make a $500 donation to charity on behalf of each participant.
Former Eagles Wide Receiver Fred Barnett is also scheduled be on hand to give some pointers, sign autographs, and pose for photos.

Although Fox 29’s Chris O’Connell was fairly agile
The men excelled in the standing broad jump, nearly all of them landed at 6’7 interestingly enough

The Overall Winners for the #NRGMediaCombine are Pat Gallen, CBS3 and Kristen Herrmann BEN FM;
NRG will be handing out Carson Wentz “Faces on a Stick” to those stopping by. Wentz is an official NRG ambassador. Last year at this time, the Eagles picked Carson Wentz. In the fall, Wentz picked NRG.
