A non-profit founded in 2002, Professional Women’s Roundtable’s (PWR) mission is to provide networking, leadership, educational and personal growth opportunities to a diverse group of women in business in the Greater Philadelphia region.
Tuesday night they held a panel on “Overcoming Obstacles” at Pennovation Center for Innovation and Research,
which featured many entrepreneur women from our area including Yasmine Mustafa (co-founder and CEO of ROAR for Good, a company that makes wearable technology aimed at diminishing attacks against women), Mary Dougherty, is the owner of two Nicole Miller stores in our area as well s MKDA a Philadelphia Marketing, Public Relations, Consulting firm based in Philadelphia with over 30 years of experience, Dixieanne James, Vice President Strategic Planning and Business Development at Einstein Healthcare Network; Nora Cothren, Academic Coordinator at Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation; Tiffany Tavarez, Corporate Contributions Manager at PECO, and Kristen Bakalar, DisruptHR Philly pictured above;
