Best Dressed of the Ball on the Square 2017
Last night, The Friends of Rittenhouse Square held their annual Ball on the Square. Nearly 450 philanthropic fashionable guests attended the event that raises money for restoration and upkeep of the beautiful Rittenhouse Square. The dress was Black Tie and with the ladies wearing exquisite gowns enduring the near summer heat and humidity for a good cause. There were two galas happening simultaneously – The Ball on the Square, where VIP guests start the night at a lascivious cocktail party at Rittenhouse Hotel, before heading into the square for the Ball; the 2017 Young Friends of Rittenhouse Ball on The Square which was across the street at Stotesbury Mansion. The Young Friends enjoy lite bites, and dancing there until 10:30PM when they head across the street to enjoy dessert and dancing to the Eddie Bruce Band til nearly 1AM.

2nd Runner up: The Best Dressed of the Ball 2017 is the beautifully decorated and lit Rittenhouse Square Ball room by Evantine Design. I think Brian Kappra and his team out did themselves.
The one thing people were asking – where did he get those magnificent chairs.
