The Calderwood Gallery and Where Magazine welcome new editor Kristina Jenkins to Philadelphia

The Calderwood Gallery (1622 Spruce Street)
inventory was created by the superb designers whose names are the hallmarks of high-style French furniture from the first half of the 20th Century. Tuesday night Gary and Janet Calderwood hosted Where Magazine’s party to introduce their new editor.

Publisher Laura Burkhardt did the honors, here with the new editor: Kristina Jenkins. Kristina was the editor for Where Magazine in the Southwest, covering Phoenix, Tucson and Denver, but wanted a change of scenery and moved East with her husband to take the position left vacant when Karen Gross left to follow her dreams in music.
Lori Klein Brennan, Thom Cardwell, Cari and Patti Klein. Patti and I just enjoyed a delicious lunch at Le Bec Fin. I hadn’t eaten there since I was a kid with my parents. The food was delicious and they have a very reasonable lunch, five-course menu for $55 or a three-course menu option priced at $35.

Random Shots Today cause I was out all night shooting Bill Clinton and Tony Blair & then needed to process them

Did public money go into building the Philadelphia Art Museum garage? Then why does the public have to pay so much for parking? $26 as opposed to $10 for a member. Also mr garage you took about 100 parking spaces away to build your driveway.
Comcast, what a beautiful building
Dinner is $.50 more and they add chips
What is happening to the Fairmount Park picnic tables?
I think the PPA should give Roxy a ticket for their movie stand taking up a scooter space

People were walking around with this coconut drinking container. For $15 you could get refills all day. Of course there was always this long line you had to endure.
Do you see the straw?

It was a great day with great friends. Then we had dinner at this new restaurant called Bull Durham BBQ

RANDOM SHOTS TODAY – Prayers for 9/11 – Fashion Night Out tonight in King Of Prussia

I love my new phone, and this was the last shot I took with my BB before I purchased the Epic. BUT it does a lousy job with Twitpics or shooting things (ie people) incognito, cause it’s so cumbersome to try and shoot on the fly.
So I might in the future carry my old BB just to capture those fun shots that we like so much. So now I will be carrying an Epic, a BB, a Nikon big gun camera, and my Lumix pocket camera. Almost an entire electronic shop.
Another Yogurt shop in Center City on the East side of Broad? Ok enough already. This is on the 1300 block of Chestnut. that girl does not look happy with my picture
A hot dog stand at the Best Buy in Deptford?
Chinatown
This was the old Polyester nightclub, remember that place. Now it’s a corner bar. 12th & Race Streets
hmm doggie slippers
Pierre Robert & Adam at XIX restaurant at the Bellevue in the Hyatt. Or is it the other way around, who knows it’s 3:30am and I really have to get to bed
mural
another one, sorry I am so lame today. I did have something else planned but instead I whittled my time away at dinner (TWEED again), then watched my soap One Life To Live, then Big Brother 12, then both the newscasts NBC10 & CBS3. lori wilson did a kick ass report on women and football. Chris May, well he’s just the nicest guy so I like to watch him too.

Thinking of others on 9/11
