I don’t know if you had a chance to make it over to the Classic Rock Art Show, but you’re running out of time as it ends on Saturday March 22. 
This year they seem to have more art for sale than ever. 
I was there for the VIP Party and saw some of Philly’s great R&R DJ’s from WMGK
They even have a section to buy nicely framed photos of your favorite rocker and a “copy” of an original document that they had signed. For example on the right is Madonna and a check she wrote to a massage therapist in 1986.
Below is Grammy® Award winner, author and producer Denny Somach explaining to WMGK’s Cyndy Drue that his friend Phil Ceccola took this photo of Bruce Springsteen in 1973, peering out of a bathroom asking if anyone had any soap? (I was excited to meet Cyndy Drue as I am a big fan of her greeting cards http://www.cyndydrue.com/philadelphia.html ; before my paparazzi life I too sold photo greeting cards and Cyndy and I would often be on the same rack.
The 8th annual WMGK Classic Rock Art Show is at the Shops at Liberty Place (16th and Chestnut) until March 22, 2008. The works of John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, and Bob Dylan will be on display, as well as photos of The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, The Grateful Dead, and for purchase. Proceeds benefit the Philadelphia Soul Moving Experience Program.

When I asked these girls their ages, they told me they were carded at the front door, whipped out their id’s that stated they were all 26. The funny thing they all had the same name, sorta like George Forman’s kids I guess? Nah that’s not true, but I am sure they were carded, I was, but do they really look 26?
About midnight I called it a night, I think the guy on the right called it a night about an hour before

Oh but sometimes I do and am awarded with a photo published in Us Weekly like this week and my shot of Amy Smart (who I have to tell you I had no idea who she was, but one of my friends tip me off to shoot her as she walked towards the tents at fashion week that early Sunday morning on 2/3/08)

I’m on a ladder, but it doesn’t help when people in front of me shoot with an extra high flash. In NYC we use a list for first come first serve, in Philly the bruts just fight for their spots. I presented the list I had to the PR but they didn’t understand, the photographers weren’t going to follow it and said it wasn’t NY. So I asked the PR to show me the set up, but she said it would be an hour before they showed up and she didn’t think we would want to stand there. I guess she doesn’t know how the pit operates. We jumped into our positions. I did get a front spot, but the poor guy who had been there first didn’t (arriving about 4PM to the Constitution Center), I was the only one willing to give up my spot. I hope he remembers who has his back. I really much prefer to shoot in NYC with the professionals.

Just a note on the R&R Hall of Fame inductions; I hope you had a chance to see Madonna’s speech. Nice to hear her talk in her regular voice losing that English accent, and really humbled.
