Game Changers, Sports Greats & Artists Help Raise Funds for Gene Spotlight

On Thursday, May 2nd a lovely lunch took place with guests who want to save lives. There were several notable people from our area hosting the event including Jay Wright, Villanova men’s basketball coach, Etan Thomas, former NBA player, jewelry designer Moira Anne Rubino, Josh Broudy & Michael Rosenthal of RLB Law Group, and artist Dori Desautel Broudy hosted an intimate luncheon at Louie Louie for the launch of the Philadelphia chapter of the charity Gene Spotlight, which raises money for rare disease medical research.

The luncheon raised over $65,000 which will fund vital rare disease medical research at the Orphan Disease Center at Penn, CHOP, and other universities and hospitals.
