The Philadelphia Union Foundation hosted their annual Cocktails and Cleats celebration last night at Vie Over 300 guests attended the event to raise awareness and money to combat challenges and promote opportunities of underserved children and young adults in the community. The evening started off with a cocktail party, where guests also bid on great items in the silent auction which included tickets to games and autographed items from local sports teams.

Guests then headed into the ballroom and were greeted by Mad Beatz Philadelphia Drumline who kicked off the dinner portion of the seated dinner and program. During the program two young people were honored for their commitment to the community – Shontae Burrows was honored for her work with Fair & Square, a fresh food market which operates under the Philabundence organization and Edward Baker, a 12 year old who has excelled in life after entering the Big Brother, Big Sister program and being matched with a Big Brother. After dinner guests were entertained by Comedy Sportz, the local improve group that keeps people in stitches.
