Opening of Uptown Beer Garden Last Week, and Wednesday SIPS Kick Off
Opening of Uptown Beer Garden
Thousands turned out to welcome back one of the city’s most popular and largest new beer gardens for summer season, the Uptown Beer Garden (1735 JFK Blvd. ). Chef Jonathan Petruce will fire up the giant new grill like chicken and beef skewers, pulled pork, Octopus skewers and lobster roll.
Uptown Beer Garden features 9,000 square foot of space nestled among the trees of the courtyard of the BNY Mellon Wealth building, on the 1700 block of JFK. Tree slab communal tables, outdoor lighting and rustic decor will return again to the urban oasis. Additionally, marble benches will be removed this year to make way for even more picnic table seating.
