The South Street Easter Parade on Sunday, April 21, 2019 was definitely one of my favorites. The weather was spectacular, but not too hot. The highest number of folks in recent years entered the fashion contest, often wearing the most fabulous outfits. Here are some fun photos.
The Rainbow Connection
Murray & Renzi Family
The Felderman’s
The Holley’s
It was great to see so many families on South Street

The Easter Bunny visited to East Passyunk Avenue last week! Hundreds of children from the area participated in the FREE Easter Egg Hunt at South Philadelphia Older Adult Center’s Outdoor Garden, located at East Passyunk Ave & Dickinson Street.
Kids decorated egg-collecting bags, posed for photos with the Easter Bunny, enjoy music from WBEN-FM and… hunt for eggs filled with toys and candy.
Egg Hunt times are staggered by age group. We suggest you arrive at least 15-30 minutes before your child’s age group; After the egg hunt, select restaurants will offer kid-friendly brunch and shopping specials. Stay tuned for a full list.
It was so fun shooting this event, and even more fun tossing “eggs” with golden tickets in the mix when kids thought all the eggs were gone. Happy Easter!!
