Anne d’Harnoncourt, art museum director, dies at 64

Anne d’Harnoncourt pictured here last year with Mark di Suvero as he installed his Iroquois near the Philadelphia Museum of Art. I recognized her immediately from her trademark bun on her head. She was graceful and elegant, and these attributes garnered much of the needed donations and support from patrons to turn the Philadelphia Art Museum into the world class art institute that it is today.http://hughe2030.blogspot.com/2007/06/mark-di-suveros-iroquois-has-landed-in.htmlimagehttp://www.philly.com/philly/hp/news_update/Anne_d0146Harnoncourt_art_museum_director_dies_at_64.html
