Social and intellectual enrichment occurred a few weeks ago at the Nodding Head, I know what your saying why was it any different than any other Saturday afternoon at the pub, well this day was different, this was the Penn Alumni’s monthly social gathering. The invitation States:

Celebrate with us as we join Penn Clubs from around the world in saluting our university’s Founder!We will honor Ben’s legacy with a beer tasting at Center City’s own Nodding Head Brewery. The event will include several Nodding Head brewed beers to taste, a light food spread, and an informative afternoon with beer experts. (How could I pass that up.
Here’s the self-proclaimed crafty, good speller, avid consumer, amateur cobbler, Penn Grad single Matt Carter who turns 24 in 10 short days, who greets guests along with Nicole Oddo ’05, recently back in Philadelphia.Every month the Penn Alumni gather to catch up, network and discuss relevant discussions of the day, these socials occur worldwide as well as in the Philly area.

Andrew Rosenthal, C’06 is the President of the local U of P group; He has the most friends on FB of anyone I know with over 1,000; This doesn’t happen over night, you have to network, meet and greet, and well age has something to do with it and I think you will get the idea by this picture Andrew hides his age well. Andrew is also Happy, and you can be too if you check out his project

For some of you single ladies out there, the next event is listed below, perhaps you and your girls might want to linger around the bar area about 8PM as the Penn boys often wind up there night there before heading home. Here are the details of the next event.

Join alumni from the Philadelphia area for an exclusive happy hour at Public House. it’s in coordination with alumni from Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Duke, Georgetown and other schools, organized by the local alumni group from Drexel.

Enjoy complimentary drinks from 6 to 7 pm in Public House’s spacious bar and lounge, followed by appetizer and drink special until 8pm.
