NAKED COWBOY VISITS PHILLY & OTHER One Shot Wonders & Black & Yellow stopped in for a bite where?
As you know I have a column online at Philly Mag’s The Post. Sometimes I take too many photos and the shelf time has run out for a run over there, but over hear I have no time line. Here are a few shots that need to see the light of day.
Oyster House (1516 Sansom Street, 215-567-7683) invited Times Square’s iconic Naked Cowboy to a special Buck-A-Shuck Happy Hour featuring Long Island Sound’s Naked Cowboy Oysters. The Naked Cowboy himself, Robert Burck, will join diver Chris Quartuccio, owner of Blue Island Oysters, to mingle with guests, take photos and of course, enjoy tasty raw oysters. Plump, meaty Naked Cowboy oysters will be served for $1 each on the half shell.

The Bellevue’s Breast Cancer Awareness Day events at Williams-Sonoma honoring two time breast cancer survivor Kathy Goldberg, who raised $5,000 for the 3 Day Susan G Komen Walk in Philadelphia. Next to her is daughter Rachel Goldberg (Teuscher Philadelphia) who is next to Elaine I. Grobman, Executive Director of the Komen Phila .Daniel Stern participated in a cooking demonstration and fed the crowd.

The celeb table at Estia (1405 Locust Street): This is where Mayor Nutter and wife Lisa like to sit as well as a few others. I just had lunch at Estia this week and had no idea how large it was. Great lunch too.

Last Saturday night was City of Hope’s Hair Ball held at Voyeur. Executive Director of the Philadelphia office Harry Giordano hosted the event for area stylist to compete in prizes, and it was a hair raising event. I think I heard him say over $300,000 was raised that evening. Congrats!!
This Jelly Bean bowl is no longer located here after a guests accidentally picked it up and wondered what it would be like to toss them all up in the air and down the staircase. It’s now located behind the hostess desk, just ask them for a spoonful, in lieu of toothpicks. This week Ryan Howard stopped in for a steak sans scooter. He navigated the steps with crutches. I wondered what happened to the jelly beans.. I loved leaving DelFriscos and taking a handful. Did this person actually have a brain? Really? They ruined it for all of us.

He's LLC himself and has peeps that stand in for him. He even has a Naked Cowgirl, but not the one you would see in Times Square
