HALLOWEEN Weekend: The Good, The Bad and the Sexy

The weather outside was frightful as a steady snow fell on Christmas eve, er I mean Halloween eve.
There were so many parties to choose from, and my dance card was full. The first two soirees I attended were chock full of fun. A must on my list was the very exclusive, and by that I mean the invite list was tight for the 2nd annual anniversary party of Sabrina Tamburino Thorne and Steve Thorne. It’s held in their house among the beautiful things, new carpeting etc and they wanted to limit the spills. Why do people insist on dancing with red solo cups in their hands?

You could call it a couples party. As the years have gone by the Sex in The City crew has matured, married, coupled up with babies on the horizon. Jill and Tal Jacobson (center) just had a baby 2 months ago with Frank and Alisa Frederico
Keren Ini Kates and Mike Kates just joined forces this year at their beautiful wedding held at the Society Hill Sheraton.
Larry Cohen and Chef Matt Levin have joined forces too. Former Adsum chef, Matt Levin started working with Brulee catering (formerly Max & Me) a few weeks back. He tells me that he and Larry have been friends for years and this opportunity arose. The future looks rosy. Talk about rosy…I’ve been meaning to congratulate Lauren Beloff and Anthony Sembello on their wedding a few weeks ago. I had expected to see them at the party, but they’re probably still on their honeymoon. They were married 10/15 (The night of the Good Dog Gala), down in Longport NJ, on the beach. It was beautiful.
Lauren O’Dorsio and John Colabelli, Philly Style Magazine publisher are headed to the alter within 6 months.

Larry Farnese and Christie Honigman. This year Chrissy launched her new PR Marketing firm The Honigman Group. Last Thursday she organized a party at Del Frisco’s for the Young Friends of the Academy Ball.

Tamar Olitsky, Patricia Benitez and Steve Olitsky. The Olitsky’s own Scarduzzio’s in Atlantic City and tell me they have tweaked the menu. Plus check out the new Table 31 Plaza. Dinner and cocktails can be served until December.
Michael Schulson and Nina Tinari. Michael Schulson own’s Sampan on 13th Street, and just generously donated a gift certificate for the Gilda’s Club charity event I am having for my sister Judy on Nov 21. Hosted by Dean Cafiero (overalls), who opened up his house “The Grotto” for friends, and friends of friends.

I went home cause I was waking up early to photograph beautiful Lancaster and Chester County in the snow. Check out those pixs later this week.
