The Philadelphia Eagles have something to smile about

On Monday, November 14, 2011, Philadelphia Eagles Tight End, Brent Celek hosted his 2nd Annual Celebrity Server Night at Morton’s The Steakhouse in Philadelphia. The event featured Celek and several of his teammates serving up the delicious dinners—with ticket proceeds benefiting sick children in the Philadelphia region through Brent Celek’s Take Flight Foundation. Event Hosts Tanya Smith, she co-hosted the Coach’s Show with Andy Reid for 2 seasons and then performed on-air segments with Couzin Ed and on “The Kid Chris Show”. Now she is the voice for The Union, and can be seen on Philly.com’s segment “Down The Shore”; and Michael Barkann, Comcast Sports. Also spotted Shady McCoy.
Eagles Lineman Todd Herremans was wearing his mustache to the Brent Celek Morton’s Steakhouse charity dinner, as he is participating in Movember (the month formerly known as November) is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for prostate awareness and other diseases that affect the male member.

Eagles receiver Jason Avant has a career to fall back on if his Sunday job doesn’t work out. The Take Flight Foundation has already distributed a Take Flight Zone to St. Christopher’s Hospital. Last year’s event raised over $100,000.
