Tidbits: Arrow Swim Club is now: North Shore Beach Club Details, Mary Carey, Jen Carroll, Sampan’s Chinese New Year

Sampan Celebrated Chinese New Year over the weekend with a delicious food and dancers to celebrate the seasonI was in there over the weekend with a few friends and enjoyed a few dishes on the special menu, which ends on February 9. Also on February 9, another performance from the beautiful dancers.
Actress Mary Carey was in town for the Wing Bowl and a couple of appearances at the Gold Club. Last year Jen Carroll, Laura Burkhardt,and I met her at 10 Arts and we all maintained a friendship since. Also picture are her cousin, Angela (r) and her husband Dave. Mary who never knew who her father was, was contacted by him about 5 years ago. She went and met the rest of the family in Ohio, and remains close. Whenever Mary is on the East coast her cousin comes to that town to spend some time together. Happy Birthday Angela.
