BEAUTIFUL TABLE SETTINGS to inspire, & for charity – Date with a Plate

Penncora Events – “A Place to Reflect”
The two-day “Date with a Plate,” took place at Peche
Sherman Mills in the East Falls section of Philadelphia, brings together
more than two-dozen table displays created by some of the region’s top
professional decorators, interior designers, florists and retailers, as
well as those set by private collectors and table décor enthusiasts.

Both the 2008 and the 2010 A Date with a Plate events were held to benefit The Noreen O’Neill Foundation for Melanoma Research – Eleanor Murdoch and Kate O’Neill with their table – “Veiled Brightness: Memories of Noreen”

Irene Beer, “Blue Plate Special”, also led a discussion about her table to a group of ladies

Primrose and Company, Somers Point, NJ – “A Blissful Day” Inspired by the thoughts “Happily ever after…” Michelle J Pollock, Angela Bonalita and Rita Colasunno.
Evantine Design – “Garden Party at the Palaise de l’Eysee”

“This is the House that John Built” – Neiman Marcus. There’s an interesting story that goes with this display. Originally NM was going to build a green house as a display, but when they got to the space it just didn’t work. Their visual manager Gina Yohe quickly thought this concept with the ladders would work much better, and I think she was right.
