It’s was a bittersweet day last month at NBC10 as longtime anchor, reporter and host
Lori Wilson announced that she is returning home to Indianapolis,
Indiana where she’ll anchor CBS-affialiated WISH-TV’s “24-Hour News 8 at 5PM and 11PM.”

But before Lori Wilson left town her longtime boyfriend Carvin Haggins popped the question and now the duo are engaged. I caught up with the duo at the inaugural United Negro College Fund (UNCF) Mayor’s Masked Ball at the Marriott Downtown in March. No mention of a marriage date for the two, or if Carvin is relocating.

Carvin Haggins, owner of Carvin & Ivan Productions and was accompanied by two of his breakthrough new artists Christine Eva, a singer-songwriter originally from New Zealand, and the Fresh Princess, rapper BriaMarie.
