WMMR’s Preston and Steve Show Receives The PPRA 2014 Gold Medal Award

Yesterday WMMR’s Preston and Steve Show was honored by the Philadelphia Public Relations Association with the Gold Medal recipient, and more notable PR people and media people attended than I can recall in modern history.

Preston, Steve, Kathy, Casey, Nick, and Marisa are all responsible for
not only raising awareness for the city’s Philabundance program with
their yearly Camp Out for Hunger, but also shedding light on the dire
need for blood donations in S.E.P.A. with their annual blood drive.

  I loved the table center pieces. 

 The PPRA is made up of PR professionals who represent clients, business’ and events. They promote the good of Philly, business’, people, events that we read about every day. It’s a great organization to belong to to network and connect with like minded people. I’ve spoken on panels and attended networking events of the organization.

 Marc Summers called his friend Mike Jerrick, Fox29’s Good Day up to do a Q&A with Claude Giroux. Missed the part where Marc can’t pronounce Giroux’s name, and I can totally relate as I once did that on my segment on Fox 29, and twice Mike had to correct me on the air.
A little shaky for the first 20 seconds, then I figured it out.

Philly Bloco, Brazillian Music got the room shaking their body including Daniel Cohn, who just announced her new job at Comcast supporting entrepreneurs, startups and innovation throughout Philadelphia and the country. Congrats girl.
