Christian Rudder Chats OK Cupid and how data plays a key role in determining how romantic matches are made in the dating world. It was quite fascinating, and surprising to those in attendance, especially the singles looking for love that other OK Cupid members vote on your photo on a scale from 1 – 5 how hot or not you are. If you consistently are voted a 1 or 2, then you will never be in the category to meet a 5. Rudder also went on to discuss how men prioritize a women’s look higher than all other qualities, where women are looking for much more than just a pretty face.
Another clue to being match up with more potential soul mates: Read Your OK Cupid mail. If you’re not opening those emails than OK Cupid may think you’re not as interesting as you think you are. PS THERE’s nothing they can do from preventing the sender from seeing you open the email. He says they understand that that is why some people are reluctant to open the emails, but it is a double edge sword. Data it helps run the site for matches, and it helps raise your status for the potential white picket fence and 2.5 kids.
