The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – Phila Area: Student of the Year Grand Finale

The Student of the Year Grand Finale. The event was held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the
Four Seasons Hotel. The winner of the fundraising competition was Mark Rodgers of Springfield High School raising $61,000 for our mission. Collectively,
the nine candidates raised $150,000 over the course of seven weeks.
Student of the Year candidate, Hailey Marcus with her father David, mother Kim, and brother Dylan.
What is entailed is the students compete with each other to raise the most money by doing bake sales, car washes and other clever marketing endeavors. It’s a very creative way to raise funds for a charity.
