One Shots: Fav Pixs From the Week (Not Published) – Insider Scoop

Every once in a while I shoot photos that never see the light of day on Twitter, FB, Instagram, or in one of the media outlets where I peddle them. For the media shots, I might see something that is “newsworthy” send it to an outlet, but in the end they’re not run for what ever reason.

For example this was going to run in Philly Daily News’ Molly Eichel’s column Philly Gossip last Thursday, but I bumped my own photo when I photographed Sly Stallone on set Wednesday day. Probably because there’s a chance in my career I will shoot Jen Frederick (r) and Alex Holley (l) again, not such a big chance I’m going to shoot them in a dragon outfit, but nonetheless Stallone comes through town but once a decade or so.

Saturday night we had that nice snowfall, the Schuylkill is frozen. Made for a nice photo.

Philadelphia Fashion Week held their “Ready To Wear Runway Show” Friday night February 20, 2015 at Crane Arts Center. The majority of the photos ran in my new photo column on Fox 29 Philadelphia, but I pulled out a few highlights of the very stylish crowd that showed up to watch the show.

I wish the press knew the line up of the fashion when it walks the runway cause they were out of order on the list featured on the website. I’d love to tell you where to get this hot shirt, on this hot guy. (I know people get mad when I’m critical, but this is something so many shows forget to do.)

Councilwomen Blondell Reynolds Brown campaign kick-off event at Pinn Memorial Baptist Church (2251 N. 54th Street, Philadelphia) brought out Sen Vincent Hughes, Councilman Curtis Jones. Bill Greenly and Council President Darrell Clarke, as well as Sen Larry Farnese. I’m a big supporter of hers.
While in the neighborhood I checked out the Ice House, which has since been torn down. Check out the artist on the right sketching the former Locust Street Medical Center that caught fire last week.
Saturday night I caught Danielle Hankin (l) sledding down the Art Museum Steps in full Versace. After she finished this guy went down. Crazy. These are the legendary stories that will live on, like when I video’d the car driving down the Art Museum Steps..
