PhillyGossip: Manitowoc Sheriffs Dept Wins Powerball, Andrew Heckenberger Works Out, Rocco Cima Out

Hello Thursday. The internet is blowing up with great local stories and I’ve collected a few that have happened since I last chatted with you on Monday. I remember forever thinking how did Dan Gross, Molly Eichel or Jenny DeHuff get content for their columns 4 times a week. Well It’s out there, and the internet makes it so much easier to gather and bring to you. (Remember you can click on the photos to make them larger to read. My old eyes need me to do so.)

“3 South Philadelphia Brothers began changing the way Philadelphia ate in
2009 with the Launch of FUEL an Everything Under 500 Calorie Cafe.
Rocco Cima (Founder) convinced his 2 brothers(Antonio, Franco) to team
up for the journey. Since then Fuel has been a staple of the community
including building a local greenhouse in north Philadelphia. Requests
have been coming in from all 50 states to open a Fuel.”
Fuel is now offering Franchising to qualified individuals with expansion plans to cover the entire US.
Happy Birthday Sabrina Tamburino, one day late. On Sunday she and her friends enjoyed dishes from the newest Midtown Village eatery Tredici Enoteca. I’ve eaten there before, and it is delicious.
#TBT Sabrina Tamburino‘s birthday party at Table 31 where Councilman, now Mayor Jim F Kenney stopped by to wish his longtime friend birthday wishes. The hottest restaurant at the time (2010). Later in the evening the party continued at G Lounge, where Sabrina got a photo with Jamie Foxx, that I placed in Michael Klein‘s Inqling’s column.
