NRG Announces Charity Finalists For Donation Contest – Vote Now

Philadelphia energy company NRG has announced the three nonprofit finalists that are in the running for a $100,000 donation. The contest is part of the 2019 NRG Gives program.

Amber Duquette, Michael Fulginiti, Dean Duquette, The Family Strong 4 ALS Foundation, Wanya Cave, Leonard Bonarek, Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, Leanne Schneider, NRG, Trevor Ciampoli and Scott Otterbein, Special Olympics Montgomery County.

NRG Gives, the charitable program sponsored by the NRG Retail Charitable Foundation, is currently awarding $100,000 to one of three local nonprofits, which was announced this morning, April 23, 2019 — Special Olympics Montgomery County, Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia and The Family Strong 4 ALS Foundation. Everybody will win with the runner ups receiving money as well; Second runner-up will receive $20,000 and the third place winner being awarded $10,000.

Contenders for the NRG Gives contest react when their names are called.

The charities are picked by NRG employees nominating the charities, which must be 501c3 organizations based in the Philadelphia region and primarily serving that area.

To win the contest the public chooses the winner by a voting online between April 23rd to April 29th at midnight. The public can visit picknrg.com/nrggives to vote. Voting is limited to one vote per day.
