E*A*G*L*E*S, Eagles NFL CHEER ALUMNI REUNION 65 Years of Cheering For The Philadelphia Chapter

A few weeks ago I headed  to the Simone Automobile Museum to attend the NFL Cheerleaders Alumni Reunion – 65 Years of Cheering for the Philadelphia Chapter ie The Eagles.

There’s a lot of classic beauties there, which brings me to the ladies who once brought smiles to the faces of millions of fans.

Heidi Azar, Beth Fisher, Tina Bernard and Leslie Matz
Eileen Gross, Program Coordinator and Brian Gross.
Jean Paladino, Marla Viturello, Nicole Douglas, Anita Mills, Denise Brant and Nicki Curtis.
Lisa Waishes, Kendra Bollenbach, and Dawn Gogolin Yushchak.
George Mach, Erin Goga, Nick Luczyszyn, Bonnie Kashlack, and Ed Snider.
Deb Smith Peterson, Cindy O’Barr, Patti Smith Cooney, Denise Didinger Bock, Debra Brady and Kathy Perry Gike.
Erin Goga and Dr. Richard Goga
Heather and Jim Moran
Lisa Bones, Tracy Tupper, Donna Mueller, Kim Kucek, Tonya Blaylock and Page Misling.
Lisa Constanzo, Trish McNew, Tammi Thompson Brown, Tracy Thompson Laws (The latter two girls were both Eaglettes and cheered during the 80s)
Fred Hill, (Eagles Fly for Leukemia ) Stan Lane (Eagles Fly for Leukemia ) and Beasley Reece, CBs3 Philly
There were memory boards all over the room and the ladies really enjoyed seeing themselves and friends on them. It was really a nice event, everyone was so excited to see each other. They’re all so supportive too.

The ladies are watching clips of themselves on the big screen. It was so fun.

FYI the gentleman holding the award event MC Mr. Vince Hill (KYW News radio) the late Janis Hill’s widower. At the podium is MaryLou Tammaro, alumni choreographer. (thanks to
Erin Goga for filling in the blanks for me.)
The award that was given out was the “Janis Hill Spirit of Community” award which was created to honor an alumni who has demonstrated commitment to our mission of charitable giving and community involvement. Janis Hill, a Liberty Belle in the 80s, helped to create our first and most successful event that raised over $170,000 for the Susan G. Koman Foundation and was a tireless ambassador and advocate for African -American women and their need for preventative breast cancer screening. She passed away in January of 2011. The recipient in the photo is Sandi Flynn. The trophy was donated by Spikes Trophies. –
