I’ve always been in love with architecture, the structure of buildings, houses and curious how people decorate their houses. Recently a Realtor, Michelle Leonard Century 21 Advantage Gold-Southampton, hired me to photograph interiors of a home she is representing at 2706 Lloyd Lane Norristown, PA 19403.
I was excited one because of everything I said above, and also I just bought a new very wide angle lens and it’s perfect for interior shooting. This is an adorable house. Very large and spacious inside.
The family that is selling it raised their family here and have lived here for over 20 years.
But now that the kids are out of the house in college and in careers of their own they want to go on an adventure and explore living in a different area of the country.
Check out this yard, it’s huge. They held two weddings for family members back here. The house holds a lot of memories for them.
I love this cute gazebo they built
Back inside I found a lot of functional rooms like the laundry room with washer and dryer
The wife has a very successful custom drapery business and used part of the basement as her home office

Saturday (Sept. 5) kicked off the 4th Annual Budweiser “Made in America” music
festival. The Jay-Z and Steve Stout founded and curated event on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, this past weekend, and for nearly 10 hours each day
attendees were entertained by various performances from hip hop,
R&B, rock, pop and EDM artists.
It was a huge success, it sold out after the headliners were listed but before the schedule was announced. Here’s a shot of the festival grounds during the Meek Mill set at 630PM Saturday Night
As is with the Burning Man Festival (which is a gathering of colorful people to enjoy music and be one with the earth, every last week of “summer” in the dessert of Black Rock City), Made In America attracts an equally colorful audience to gathered to enjoy musical acts from headliners, to up and coming headliners to shaking our heads liners.
The Rocky stage this year was still an inspiration of the flag, but there was no commercialism attached to it, no Budweiser or Made In America logos as was in years gone by.
This year’s line up was interesting too, lots of rappers on the main stages, singing lyrics that you don’t want your kids to be singing.
I can understand one song maybe, but song after song of mutha fu*king bitch, is really lame. Ok that being said the festival was great. Laid out very nicely again, every year they tweak it a little more and it just gets better/ There were lots of things to do, it’s a safe atmosphere, there’s officials every where looking for hot spots, and although I did see a few people get blasted most folks were there to just have a good time with friends and enjoy it.
Vic Mensa performed for the crowd on the Rocky Stage. Later that night he was spotted on South Street enjoying a cheese steak. In the background is my condo building. The powers to be there had the city inspector out checking out the decibals on our front driveway, for the most part it was below 85 all day long. I know hard to believe but the organizers worked with the neighborhood and made sure the speakers faced inward.
There was a lot of love going around
The weather was perfect this year, but without significant rain for awhile the grounds became downright dusty, but no one seemed to mind and adjusted to the dust storm
Wearing handkerchiefs to cover their mouths and noses
These Bud viewing platforms were new this year and you could see 3 different stages from this vantage point, Liberty Stage, Rocky Stage and the new Tidal Stage. Freedom Stage was where the EDM acts were and a bit on the side near Park Town Apartments.
Fabulous was fabulous. Philly’s Kevin Hart introduced him via video and he did a set with Philly rapper Freeway. It’s great to see so many Philly singers presented at MIA
The food this year was outstanding, and varied. Prices for reasonable with my meals under $10.
The Parkway was also lined with food trucks. Mama’s Ball’s sold over 2000 sandwiches. Cow and Curd did well too. There were smiles all around at the end of the night.
I also saw the Empire bus there. Fans of the show auditioned for a chance to sing on the show. You can also enter online
Throughout the weekend I saw kids collecting cans and bottles for recycling and swag from the Budweiser store.
Did I mention the love at the festival?
Nick Jonas delivered to his fans. The night before he ate at Parc restaurant on Rittenhouse Square, first table to the left of the door, outside on the sidewalk enjoying a late night dinner. As Beyonce and JayZ celebrated Bey’s birthday at Barclay Prime about 10PM.

Beyonce and her dancers make their way down the Art Museum Stairs from their dressing rooms.
The stairs made famous and nicknamed The Rocky Stairs will now be christened Queen Bey Stairs. (Note Queen Bey’s black Mercedes Limo is at the top of the photo.)
No photographers were allowed in the pit to shoot Beyonce as she always just has her house photographer. Her set was sexy, sensual and about women empowerment.
She sang many of her current hits from 7/11
I love the Beyonce style of dancing. She’s just amazing.
Watch Jay Z and Nick Jonas rock out to Beyonce. You can see Bradley Cooper’s white Eagles hat too
Sadly there wasn’t too many ladies on the bill this year, it’s mind bongling that JayZ protege Rihanna has never appeared at Made In America. But we did have a few fabulous gals like Santigold, who looked adorable on stage
Marian Hill performed on the Skate Stage is an American songwriting duo from Philadelphia, made up of production expert Jeremy Lloyd and vocalist Samantha Gongol, debuting in 2013 with their first EP ‘Play’. In 2015, they released the album ‘Sway’.
There was plenty of water available for guests, but unfortunately not for the folks who were front row for hours on end to watch their fav singer from well the hot as hell front row. By night time people were passing out left and right. When your in that crowd, even half way back, it can be a bitch to work your way out of that situation. So many times people would pass out and the crowd would just lift their bodies and carry them forward as if they were crowd surfing. It was kinda emotional to see. So I don’t think it is ever a good suggestion to wait in the front row, plus you’ll miss the festival.

Bradley Cooper called the South Jersey Shore and Philly his vacation spot over the Labor Day Weekend
Spotted on the beach with his model girlfriend fun loving Irina Shayk, making you wonder why he ever dated the blah Renee Zellwenger.
Bradley Cooper and his family spent summers at the Jersey Shore in Brigantine. On the North end of the island you can bring your dog year round, and he did.
Bradley, Irina were joined by Bradley’s mom Gloria Cooper and stopped in many eateries and posed for fans.
On Friday night Cooper had dinner with one of his childhood friends and posed with his son Lucas before headed out for the evening.
To Steve and Cookies in Margate, where they enjoyed dinner and as Cookie told the NY Daily News, every dessert that had on the menu.
Saturday afternoon Bradley Cooper arrived in Philly and where he was sighted near Broad and Chestnut Streets in Philly, happily posing for photos with fans.
Later that evening he was spotted in the VIP seats at Made In America posing with Chris Rock. I’ll be doing a different post today on Scenes from Made In America and you’ll see where the seats were.
As the concert kicked off the celebrities moved to the front of the stage including Nick Jonas (l) and JayZ (r)
Kelly Rowland and mama Knowles were also front row center checking out the show
Bradley Cooper, Irina Shayk and mama Cooper were there too. She’s behind Bradley and you can see a lock of her blond hair.
I’ll post more pixs from the Beyonce concert but here’s her 8 outfit changes.
Mayor Nutter posed with Rocco Cima, Q102, Fuel
As you know I chatted about JayZ’s and Beyonce’s favorite restaurant in Philly being Talula’s Table in Washington Sq. on my BenFM celeb segment earlier this month. Well Friday night was date night for daddy daugher JayZ and Blue Ivy. As mom Beyonce did her sound check at Made in America. Watch my Fox 29 segment to see what else happened that evening.
PS I have to re record this cause it’s a bit tunnel sounding; because it was nearly 8 minutes long Fox 29 didn’t put it up on their website but I recorded it.
One part I missed chatting about on Fox 29 yesterday was the tip I got Sunday’s about JayZ, Beyonce and family headed to Talula’s for brunch about 1PM. When I got work I texted Alex Holley, who was game for heading over there and checking it out. She did and found out that Bey and family rented out the “coffee shop” for brunch. Couldn’t believe I forgot to say this on the tube, would have been hysterical.
Basically this says: Don’t Even Dare to drive in this area, unless you have a lot of patience and are not in a hurry today. And forget about it Friday through Tuesday morning.
Delays can be expected and motorists are advised to avoid
the area by using alternate routes, and allow for extra driving time in the
areas near these festivities before and during Labor Day weekend. Please
refrain from double-parking, which creates congestion, limits traffic flow
and is illegal.
There are three phases of road closures associated with
the construction of the Festival site that are in effect, now
through Tuesday, September 8th. A detailed list of closures

Don’t Go Home Alone says the take out menu of the newly opened Bar Bombon
Nicole Marquis’ latest vegan bar and restaurant Bar Bombon opened last week (in the old Crumbs Cupcake space at 133 S. 18th St.) The other day I walked by and they invited me in to check it out. The space looks amazing, can’t even believe it was the smallish Crumbs shop as they really opened it up.
Monday night Philadelphia Fashion Week 2015 kicked off at Sugar House with a show and a party.
Philadelphia Fashion Week celebrates 10 years putting on empowering, entertaining fashion shows. Kevin Parker had a vision for Philly Fashion Week when he was just 18 and partnered with fashion guru, Kerry Scott, to create FBH .
Last night fashion fans gathered in South Philly across the street from Geno’s Steaks, one of the sponsors of the Philadelphia Fashion Week 2015, to enjoy the second night of fashion this time al fresco as I saw some guests enjoy a few wiz wits as they waiting for the show to start. To start the evening off an acapella group – In The Mix entertained the crowd with a few songs.
Mike Jerrick arrived and posed for pixs with fans
The place was packed by the time Geno Vento greeted the fans, and thanked them for coming.

UPDATE 2019: Why Was Harry Styles in Philly over the Weekend…New Story
The rumors are true (Update: I don’t know why the photos disappeared but if you click on them they appear. Probably because I updated from blogger to wordpress about a year ago.)
Harry was at Baskin Robbins on Sunday night. A reader sent me this photo, and I kinda didn’t think it was possible but as I am suffering from caffeine and carb withdraw this week I should have believed my reliable tipster. Harry was at the Baskin Robbins in Wayne with his “new” friend Zander. New as in they met sometime in the spring and have been inseparable.
Then last night he stopped in Campus Corner at Villanova. Zander Ritz, his new bff since spring, his from Radnor, Pa. His dad is a dentist in town and
we have 7 mutual friends on FB. He’s cute.
He’s kinda a local sports celeb too, very accomplished, playing lacrosse in high school with his brother Max. Then both headed to Maryland to lead their team to championships there too. There was an article about them in the Inky in 2006
Zander has a successful e commerce biz in NYC, and a new super star friend who’s at ease hanging with his bud in his hometown and meeting his friends. He was not checking out Villanova, Ritz is from Radnor.
Harry was cool posing with fans, while his stalker fans combed the area for a glimpse of him. At one point fans thought he was at the Radnor Hotel, but that was not the case the police said when they showed up and asked the fans to leave.
This is the length some of the fans go to to get a glimpse of their idol. Eventually this gal did get a photo with Harry.
This fans mom told her now she could be naked with Harry as she gifted her with a shower curtain with a shot of Harry the fan tool.
So it’s true Harry was on the Mainline for the past two nights, the rest of the band stayed in NYC and went clubbing. It’s rumored they will travel directly to the stadium from NYC for the sound check at 3PM, then stay there for the concert tonight. Heading back to NYC for a concert on 9/3. As for Harry, I’m not sure what he’s going to do.
Here’s a shot someone says is him leaving the leafy neighborhood where he spent last night. Is he headed to the Linc, or to the hotel where is manager & tour director are staying. I’ll find out. Follow me on twitter @iphillyChitChat and at Instagram PhillychitChat
