HUNTER PENCE PICKED UP MORE THAN A GOOD GAME IN CLEARWATER, Fl

At the Shane Victorino Foundation Fashion Show I ran into
Hunter Pence with girlfriend Savannah Swetland (She told me some people pronounce it sweatland, and others sweetland).
Seems more than just batting practice went on in Clearwater, as that’s
where this new couple met. Savannah tells me she lives here now and
loves Philly.

She’s gorgeous, and sweet to boot (I’ll call her Sweetland.) Congratulations to them for finding each other. At one point she said to me that the fans really loved him and that was so nice. She didn’t know he was so popular. (very sweet)

Check out Hand & Stone for all your spa & massage needs. (Thanks for advertising.)

Check out my Philly Mag column on the Shane Victorino Foundation Fashion Show for lots of other fun photos, and stories you won’t hear any where else.(I know you’ve seen the photos everywhere else, but you haven’t heard my stories.)

The above is from Montana. i was there 4 years ago during the great Forrest fire. Every day the sky was full of smoke, sometimes it invaded my hotel room too.

Duke & Winston #WearTheBeach Party, Plus What R the Three Nerd’s Up To? #fb

Duke & Winston presents: #WearTheBeach – A
Summer Launch Party Duke & Winston is kicking off Summer with a new
line of beach-inspired apparel for men and women. #WearTheBeach is a
casual line that is primarily tanks and tees featuring ten beloved East
Coast beaches

Duke wasn’t present physically (I love that dog), but I did run into Steve Sauls, GM North Beach, and who I hear is the 5th Nerd, or is it the 6th one. With him is another Nerd Zach Seidman (I think the kid made a wise choice leaving Whisper after all.). The Three Nerds are a management company, and are responsible for some of the hippest parties in town. We’ll be checking in with them through out the summer, especially at North Beach. Next Sunday I’m heading over to the Piazza to see what Dayload is?

Hailey Samsi (Happy Bday), Kevin Gance (his fav teams – New York Giants, New York Yankees, Penn State Nittany Lions football)  Hayley Kurtz wants you to know that Life is simple. Everything happens for you, not to you. You don’t have to like it, it’s just easier if you do.  and Derick Palodino,

Talisa, Melissa, Rosalyn and Ayanna

Quinn, Gina, and James

Mole Street Productions helped promote this party that Seun Olubodun (Duke and Winston) threw to launch his new summer wear. Brendan Walsh, Rina Kopchinski, Devon Haas, and Bran LaPann
Not surprising no one in this crew wanted to release their names, except the City Fitness Trainer on the left, CW Tim Russ.

Samuel Lassoff and Julie Radyn
Reuben Harley, Fashion Photog at StreetGazer.com, Bethanny Noble and Simon Carr, make the scene.
It was a little nippy for June, but a few brave souls jumped in the cool water for a hot time.

As the summer heats up, Philly’s only pool side night club makes a big splash.
Congrats to Seun Olubodun (Duke and Winston) for his successful launch party, and for some hot beach wear. Does that shirt come in an XXXL? With Hacina Saadi and Claudia Rosales, VIP Mgr at Rumors Nightclub. I’m going to check out their new Goth Night on Wednesdays, maybe throw on a little eyeliner. Can’t dye my hair pink anymore cause well not much left to dye anymore. If you have time today check out my PhillyMag column. I covered a sweet little garden party before this event the same night.

I photographed this gal out Walnut Street Friday. I love her shoes, her dress and the rockin tattoo on her back. She also had a shaved head but I was unable to capture is cause my phone sucks. This week I’m buying a new camera phone.

CAREER WARDROBE GALA, I learned: SUSIE CELEK CAN DO A SPLIT

Last week Career Wardrobe held it’s annual fashion show gala in the Grand Ballroom at the Hyatt in the Bellevue. Lots of changes this year, first look at their new branding, fresh and current.
Secondly, and one of the best ideas, a prolong cocktail hour with buffet stations.  After an hour we all headed into the ballroom and enjoyed sit down dessert dining while enjoying the action on the runway.

During the cocktail hour there was an extensive silent auction too. Lot’s of great items, and several Viv Pickle purses signed by celebrities.

Devin and Carrie Ann D’Andrea, Melanie Restad and Angelina Martin. The gals work for Viv Pickle as seamstress and created the bags that were sold at the night’s auction. The design is collaboration between their boss and the Career Wardrobe, then they create them. Their favorite is definitely Elmo.
