Philly’s Latest Adult Playground Open’s with Revolutions Bowling, Bar & Grille – Sneak Preview

Last week the folks behind Revolutions Bowling, Bar & Grille at 1009 Canal St. (Revolutions at Penn Treaty) (Next to The Fillmore, Punchline and across from Sugarhouse Casino), gave me a tour of their newly opened entertainment venue.  Revolutions at Penn Treaty is a 52,000 square-foot venue that is full of fun for everyone. The two-level complex features a 26-lane bowling experience including 12 private VIP lanes, along with a full service restaurant, courtesy of Burger & Beer Joint. The first floor features a 21-and-over “club within a club,” the first of its kind in the Revolutions family, with beverage specials courtesy of the Flair Bar bar-tending spectacle.

At the time I was there they didn’t have the drink menu ready, but they had the “drink” props set up

There’s bowling on two floors, and it’s not just bowling, it’s like bottle service bowling – you get your own server. And look at the comfy couches.

In some spots, the marketing department told me, they left the original graffiti that lined the walls of the former factory

After my day tour I headed back for the first night of the soft opening

Mike and I both had burgers, and they were delicious. Then for dessert Mike opted for the Fried Oreo Cookies.

This is the Flair Bar, which bartenders not only serve you a specialty drink, but they do it with a flair a la Tom Cruise in the movie Cocktail.

Revolutions is open now, but the official grand opening is slated for next week with entertainment, food and an open bar.

The hours of operation are 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Kids are allowed to hang out until 9PM.
